Setting Up Alerts

Configure alerts to receive notifications before your subscriptions renew. Alerts are automatically created when you add a subscription, and the system checks for upcoming renewals daily:

1. Go to the Alerts/Notification Settings section in your dashboard
2. Configure your alert preferences:
   • Email Notifications: Toggle switch to enable/disable email alerts
   • Alert Days Before: Use the slider (0-30 days) to set how many days before renewal you want to be notified. The value is displayed next to the slider.
3. Click "Save Preferences" to apply your settings

How It Works: The system automatically checks your subscriptions daily and sends you email notifications when renewals are approaching based on your alert preferences.

Alert Channels

Orbitros uses a multi-channel notification system. Currently available channels:

• Email: Receive alerts directly in your inbox. This is the primary and default channel, always enabled.
• WhatsApp: Coming soon - receive alerts via WhatsApp
• Discord: Coming soon - receive alerts via Discord
• SMS: Coming soon - receive text message alerts

The system ensures you receive timely notifications without duplicates for the same renewal.

Managing Alerts

You can customize alerts per subscription or set global defaults:

• Set different alert timings for different subscriptions
• Enable or disable alerts for specific subscriptions
• Update alert preferences anytime from your dashboard
